Grade 5 Admission Requirements

Requirements:

  • Online Application
  • Parent or Learning Coach Questionnaire
  • Student Interest Questionnaire
  • Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE)
  • Current Teacher Recommendation
  • Family Interview
  • Virtual Class Preview
  • Report cards from the previous two academic years
  • Current 2026–2027 report card or progress report
  • Transcript and School Records Release Form

ISEE Testing: Applicants entering Grade 5 must submit results from the appropriate level of the Independent School Entrance Exam. Families may register through the ISEE website. School Code: 572920 Official scores must be sent directly to HomeSTEM Academy. 

Student Interest Questionnaire: Applicants will answer age-appropriate questions about their interests, learning preferences, favorite subjects, and personal goals.

Teacher Recommendation: A confidential recommendation from the applicant’s current classroom teacher is required.

Family Interview: The student and parent or guardian will meet with a HomeSTEM Academy admission representative to discuss the student’s academic needs, interests, and readiness for virtual learning.

Virtual Class Preview: Applicants will participate in a virtual class preview to experience HomeSTEM Academy’s live instructional environment.
